Legatum Group builds tools for industries that have been underserved by software — recruitment, sales, sport, small business. Not because the markets are unfashionable, but because they’re where most of the actual work gets done.
Legatum is a small team that builds software the way it should be built — by people who’ve actually worked in the industry they’re building for. Our products start as tools we needed on our own desks and couldn’t find, or could find but were built by people who’d clearly never run a desk themselves.
We don’t chase consumer trends. We don’t build for unicorn outcomes. We build durable tools for serious people, in markets that other software companies have ignored because they aren’t glamorous enough.
Every product we ship goes through a Founders cohort first — a small group of customers who pay locked-in pricing in exchange for direct input while we’re still figuring it out. That’s how we know what to build next, and what to leave alone.
A weekly note from inside the studio — what’s shipped, what hasn’t, what we’re learning, and what we think about the industries we work in. Written by Stephen, plain English, no ceremony.
